Eco-Friendly Fly Trap

Vaso Trap is an eco-friendly insect trap for fruit flies, common flies, hornets, wasps, and various types of flying pests. It is a food baited chromotropic trap that is easy to prepare at home by recycling 1 kg honey jars. Like the famous Tap Trap, Vaso Trap is made of a very resistant plastic material in an intense yellow colour, and is an environmentally and health-friendly solution: useful for the defence of orchards, gardens, vineyards, apiaries, green spaces in general, it can be used in campsites, farmhouses, terraces, country houses, cottages with gardens, boats, etc.

Where to put it? The Vaso Trap flytrap can be hung directly from an aerial stand, or placed on a shelf or on the ground, without risk of tipping over.

How is the bait made? Food bait is prepared using common and inexpensive natural food substances, which will vary according to the type of insect to be trapped (below are a number of recipes we have tried and tested successfully for many years).

A SLUG TRAP USING VASO TRAP

Vaso Trap is also an excellent trap for slugs and snails. Simply dig a hole in the ground and bury a 1 kg honey pot in it, leaving the top part outside. Fill it with half a bottle of beer (even low quality beer) and apply Vaso Trap without the funnel.
